Maestro Music is a supplementary after school enrichment music program offered to elementary school students ages 7 and up once a week after school in their choice of piano or guitar. Maestro Music is held at the school for 45 minutes once a week. It is designed to introduce students to music making and foster a love for music in the lives of children while at the same time teaching them music fundamentals that will last a lifetime. Maestro Music teaches students in a group how to play a musical instrument, to read music, compose, improvise and develop performance skills. We introduce children to music making at young ages because we know and understand that students involved in music benefit in several ways such as higher scores in math and increased reasoning skills as these are just some of the benefits.
